Nestaway: feel like home
Once upon a time a girl named Rupam who lived in a village with her parents was pursuing graduation in mass communication. She wanted to pursue higher education in journalism but there was no institute in her village where she could complete higher studies in that domain. She inquired thorugh multiple sources about the best colleges for doing masters in journalism. She came to know that Indian institute of mass communication which is located in Delhi, is the leading institute in the country for the course. Then one day she decided to leave her village and go to Delhi to do the course. Initially she lived in a shared paying guest room. After couple of days she realised that the p.g. was not appropiate for her studies and also the food quality provided in the p.g. was not good for health. She tried to rent a seperate room but she realised that she will have to pay a lot of brokerage to find a suitable room and after that she will have to bear another set of expenses on buying furnitures for her room.
Then one day she came to know about a company named 'Nestaway' through social media. Nestaway used to provide furnished room in a flat which was generally shared by working professionals. There was no brokerage needed to be paid to rent a room through Nestaway. Along with that she could control time and quality of room provided to her. She had the option to meet the flatmates before booking the room and decide whether she will be comfortable living with them or not. She was very happy to have discovered Nestaway but she was confused.
Of course, the rent of each room available on Nestaway was little bit on higher side than the standard rent. The main advantage she was getting through Nestaway was that she could save on brokerage and furniture cost. All she had to do was, to move in with her bag and be tension free for everything else. But the higher rent was the major set back in coming to a final decision.
She thought that she will not be able to afford proper accommodation in the city until finally she talked to her professor about her financial problem. Her professor gave her some ideas to arrange extra money. She chose to work as a part time teacher in her college itself to earn extra money which also helped her to polish her in journalism. This way Nestaway not only provided her the much required accommodation but also inspired her to explore her capabilities and pursue her dream.
